*NVC SAFE Performance & Rehearsal GUIDELINES* (Updated August 21, 2022)
Masks remain OPTIONAL. Phoenix Boys Choir is in accordance with CDC Guidelines that rank Maricopa County at a LOW COVID-19 Community Level.
If I am sick, I will reply to this email to notify NVC and will STAY HOME.
My attendance at NVC rehearsals and performances means that I have read, understand and will abide by the following guidelines and recommendations:
- Based on my understanding and acceptance of my personal and community risk AND my awareness of the updated August 11, 2022 COVID-19 CDC Guidance, including recommendations for vaccination and booster, I will make an individual decision on whether to attend and/or mask during NVC rehearsals and performances.
- Notwithstanding, I will adhere to the stated policies of the venues where NVC performs.
- I will not attend rehearsal or performance if:
- I feel sick
- I was recently exposed to a known or suspected COVID infected person
- I am part of an “at-risk population”, such as over age 65 and not yet fully vaccinated
- I will notify NVC immediately if diagnosed with COVID-19 or if I find out I have been exposed to someone who has COVID-19. CDC notes that the first 5 days are when you are the most contagious, so stay home and isolate from others in your home or wear a mask if you must interact. See Removing your Mask and testing recommendations for safe return to rehearsals. We will confer with you if you have tested positive.
- COVID levels are low, but still active in our community, so masking at indoor public events is recommended. Some additional information is below:
- Mayo Clinic study on mask protections HERE ”
- Mayo Clinic Guidelines for selecting and wearing a proper face covering HERE.
- Singers’ masks are offered HERE.
- I will wash or sanitize my hands as instructed and follow other recommended protocols.
What if I am uncomfortable for any reason during a rehearsal or performance? I will leave and give feedback to director /session leader at the break or after the rehearsal.
