About Us

Who is NVC?

NVC is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to the cultural, musical, and social enrichment of metropolitan Phoenix and its surrounding communities.

Founded in 2007, NVC now boasts over 60 Members, ages 18-85, led by volunteer Music Director, Eleanor Johnson. The NVC is supported by an energetic and distinguished Board of Directors.

What is NVC’s mission?

We serve our community by providing affordable, accessible and inspiring performances of choral music from many traditions, eras, and cultures. Our repertoire ranges from classical to pop, Broadway, patriotic and sacred music. Each year we perform three main Concerts at varied venues throughout the Valley, as well as several outreach performances.

Want to hear more?

NVC has two CDs, An American Tapestry and We Wish You Christmas.
After you hear the sample selections, we know you’ll want to purchase a set for yourself and a few more for gifts!

How do we serve?

We reach out into our community to share our gifts of music, companionship and goods with those who are lonely, ill, and homeless. NVC is a community arts partner of Banner Alzheimer Institute (BAI), Pueblo
Norte Senior Living Community
, UMOM shelters, and the VA Medical Center.
