Mark was born and raised in Indianapolis and relocated to Arizona in 1988 to begin his medical residency in Internal Medicine. He married Anita later that year and the two shared a medical practice for 18 years. He is now employed at Mayo Clinic in the Division of Community Internal Medicine.
